DESCRIPTION:See live firing demonstrations by the Nothe Fort Garrison The Dorsetshire Regiment\n \nWitness the Nothe Fort Artillery in their splendid uniforms and displays including musketry and cannon firing drills.\nLearn about the duties of the Garrison during the Victorian era and see the regiment in action. \nFiring demonstrations will take place between 12pm and 3pm. \n\n \nNoise Levels and Ear Protection\nPlease be aware the cannon and musket firing can be quite loud. Ear defenders are available to borrow during the demonstration.\nNothe Fort Staff will be walking the Parade Ground offering them to visitors.\n\nADMISSION INFORMATION:\n\n\nThis event is included in the price of admission and is FREE with an Annual Pass.\n\n\nWhat3Words Location for Nothe Fort: dogs.claim.nest\n\n\nParking: parking is available outside the fort at Nothe Car Park (What3Words: mixed.stuck.serve)\n\n\nSeating Provided: – There are seats all around the Fort if required while on site.\n\n\nFood and Drink: The Fort View Café will be open for the duration of this event.\n\n\nDogs: We are a dog-friendly museum. We ask that all dogs remain on short leads at all times.
