Frequently Asked Questions - Falklands Tribute Standing With Giants
Questions about the exhibition:
What is different from the Standing With Giants display at Fort Nelson?
The Falklands Tribute is a separate exhibition created by charity Standing with Giants that is dedicated to the 255 military personnel and 3 civilians who lost their lives during the Falklands conflict in 1982.
These figures will be on display in and around Nothe Fort parade ground and ramparts, for visitors to walk amongst and reflect.
Not to be confused with the For Your Tomorrow exhibition, also by Standing With Giants, which is on display at Fort Nelson.
The ‘For Your Tomorrow – The People’s Tribute’ is an installation of 1,475 life-sized silhouettes, also created by charity Standing with Giants in tribute to the servicemen under British Command and 50 French Resistance Fighters who lost their lives on D-Day.
Fort Nelson has previously hosted the Falklands Tribute exhibition.
