Join us for our Quiet Opening Days during the school holidays for families and individuals who would like to enjoy holiday activities at a quieter, less crowded pace.
Quiet Opening Dates:
- Saturday 22nd February 10am
- Saturday 12th April 10am
- Saturday 31st May 10am
- Saturday 1st November 10am
During Quiet Openings, the Fort will open at 10am. This is suitable for those with sensory needs, but anyone who would prefer to explore in this quiet time is more than welcome. Enjoy holiday activities at a quieter, less crowded pace.
The Quiet Opening includes access to the entirety of the museum currently open to the public.
Please Note:
One of our friendly volunteers will greet you as you arrive.
You may have to queue outside before entering.
Please be respectful of other visitors attending during this quiet time.

Nothe Fort is now open weekends only until 28th March.
On 30th March we reopen daily for our new summer season, 10:30am – 4:00pm
