Come along to an interactive recruitment experience with Living History Reconnaissance Corp!
You’ve travelled back in time to World War II – and your Country needs You!
See what new recruits would have faced before going off to war:
- Learn about the life of a newly enlisted soldier in WWII
- Discover how to pass a soldier’s medical test
- Get a close look at the soldier’s kit
- Learn the basics of Drill marching
- WWII themed activities – and more!
This is a drop-in event running all day. No need to book!

Seating Provided: – This is not a seated performance, but there are seats all around the Fort if required while on site.

Food and Drink: The Fort View Café will be open.

Dogs: We are a dog-friendly museum. We ask that all dogs remain on short leads at all times. Please expect to see dogs in the Fort during your visit.
