Tour Information

Times: Daily from 26 – 31 October 2025. Every 30 mins from 11am – 3.30pm (break at 1pm)

Spaces: Limited spaces (10 per tour)

How to Book: book for FREE from the Shop desk on the day of your visit.

Price: FREE – book at the Shop desk.

Duration: 10-15 minutes

Age guide: Suitable for ages 6+. Please note, this is not a ghost hunt, but a guided tour exploring some of the folklore and superstitions of the Fort’s history.

Accessibility: This tour will involve multiple sets of stairs and exploring underground tunnels – not suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Please prepare for uneven ground and potentially chilly conditions.

Admission Information

• This event is included in the price of admission and is FREE with an Annual Pass, but will require booking from the Fort Shop Desk.

• Parking: parking is available outside the fort at Nothe Car Park (What3Words: mixed.stuck.serve)

• Seating Provided: – no seating provided during the tour. There are seats all around the Fort if required during your visit.

• Food and Drink: The Fort View Café will be open.

• Dogs: We are a dog-friendly museum. We ask that all dogs remain on short leads at all times. Please expect to see dogs in the Fort during your visit. 

• Wheelchair User Access: Nothe Fort is wheelchair accessible and has a lift. If you have any access requirements before your visit, please contact Nothe Fort ahead of your visit (01305 766626).
