Returning in 2023, with Dog Friendly Social was the Dorset Dog Friendly Business Awards and family-fun Dog Show, Paws 4 Fort!
This year we have had over 600 votes for over 70 incredible businesses Dorset wide, and it’s safe to say that we are so proud to have so many dog friendly businesses around!

Hospitality Category
3rd Place – Rossi’s Icecream
One of Weymouth’s traditions, Rossi’s are always friendly and welcoming with exceptional doggy service. They offer the best service and ice cream for dogs, and they often post canine friends on their socials.
2nd Place – Wafflicious
Wafflicious is consistent with friendly staff with excellent service and they accommodate customers with dogs really well. They provide a really cheerful environment and delicious food.
1st Place – Goulds Garden Centre Café
They have put a new indoor seating dog friendly area in the café, with a dog menu available! Staff are so friendly and really welcoming!

Park View Paws always go above and beyond, ensuring high-quality treatments. They are very professional, caring and personal. Park View Paws ‘stands out from the rest’.
2nd Place – The Willows
Reliable, professional and welcoming with a beautifully kept premises. They prioritise the dogs comfort before anything else, treating them as though they are part of their family.
1st Place – Emma’s Grooming
Outstanding service and quality with the biggest hearts. They go the extra mile, especially for dogs with additional needs, making them comfortable while treating them with respect and dignity. Top Groomers that really care about the health and wellbeing of their canine clients.
Accommodation:
3rd Place – Jurassic Properties
Great properties, with excellent communications with lots of doggie information. The properties usually have lots of dog-friendly bits in the houses as well.
2nd Place – Pebble Bank Holiday Park
Staff are very accommodating, and the site provides a lot for dogs including lots of water bowls. Plus, excellent views!
1st Place – Bagwell Farm
They provide lots of facilitates including beautiful walks, free poo bags, and dog shower room. Dogs are treated with respect and owners can relax.

3rd Place – Absolute Artisans
Staff take the time to chat and make a fuss of the dogs and offer treats. And a special shout out to Noah who are so passionate about caring for dogs, they have rescues themselves.
2nd Place – LilyPups Dog Boutique
Great service and range of items. They run brilliant events and are a great asset to the community.
1st Place – Raw Bournemouth
Created a community feel at their store with amazing quality produce and friendly staff. Mark goes out of his way for his customers, and is extremely inviting, helpful and knowledgeable.

3rd Place – Portland Bill Lighthouse
They welcome dogs, as well as selling dog ice cream and providing water bowls.
2nd Place – Sandworld
Staff are always very friendly and welcome dogs.
1st Place – Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens
Large gardens are amazing and exotic, as well as welcoming and safe for dogs of all ages. You can take a book and your dog, and stay the whole day.
