In 2023 we welcomed over 89,000 visitors with over 900 responses to our visitor survey in the summer. Our visitor feedback is invaluable to the development of the Fort, from our day-to-day practices, exhibitions, sustainability and accessibility.
Due to the survey this year, we have been able to design exhibitions to suit the requirements of our visitors. We have also improved accessibility with a new lift, an access guide and implementing Quiet Openings to suit those with sensory needs. Nothe Fort is on a continuous journey and we appreciate all the support and suggestions received, we look forward to seeing what 2024 brings.
